Lucy Allatto Obituary

Lucy Albena Allatto, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday October 24th, 2025 in the company of her loving family, with her daughter holding her hand.

Lucy was born on December 4th, 1930 in Tickfaw, LA. This is where she called home for 94 years surrounded by her growing family, a place that Lucy will leave her legacy for the years to come. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 64 years, Russell Allatto Sr., her parents Joe and Albena Clark, her son, Michael Allatto, and her two brothers Tony Clark & Pete Clark.

Lucy also was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her beloved daughter Mildred Lucido, and her son Russell Allatto Jr. along with eleven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Anyone who had the joy of knowing Lucy was also well aware that she was a very strong and intentional woman with a wit as sharp as a tack. She had a great sense of joy for lunch outings with her daughter, and shopping sprees with and for her grandkids. As time went on, the nurses and caregivers often referred to her as "fancy Lucy," a nickname she was quite proud of. She modeled a live well lived, was deeply loved, and will be extremely missed.

The family is deeply appreciative of the many thoughts, prayers, and support shown at this time, as well as the tremendous kindness and patience shown by all of the nurses and caregivers who showed Lucy so much love even when the nights were long.
