Mari Helen Raborn Landry, age 78, of Mandeville, Louisiana, beloved mother, daughter, sister, friend, and light in the lives of so many, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering positivity. She was born on July 10, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is survived by her daughters, Leslie Landry Hentze and Corey Landry Cooper; grandchildren, Chandler Michael Tillman, Shelby Madison Tillman, and Sydney Baella Cooper; sisters, Linda Raborn Pedersen, Dianne Raborn Matherne and Lisa Raborn Carmena; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William S. Raborn and Helen T. Raborn; and a sister, Susan Raborn Powell. Mari Helen was truly one of a kind-the most selfless, genuine, and wonderful soul you could ever meet. She worked for many years as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines, a role that afforded her the opportunity to explore the world and, more importantly, meet so many incredible people along the way. Her warm presence and open heart made her unforgettable to everyone she encountered. Whether she was sharing a laugh on a layover or offering comfort to a stranger, Mari Helen had a way of making every moment feel special. Everywhere she went, she brought light into the room. She had a quiet strength and an effortless grace-always seeing the good in people and always finding the silver lining. She had a gift for making others laugh and always extended kindness to everyone she met. Her positivity was contagious, her spirit unshakable. To know Mari Helen was to love her. She will be remembered for her humor, compassion, and caring spirit, and she leaves behind countless memories, immeasurable love, and a beautiful example of how to live life with compassion, humility, and joy. Her precious soul will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
