Shane Kelley Wade

Shane Kelley Wade, born October 16, 1986, entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the young age of 38. He spent his life brightening people's lives with his silly sense of humor. Never afraid of a little mischief, Shane always kept his teachers (and parents) on their toes. He had a heart of gold that he wore on his sleeve. He was passionate, forgiving, hard-working, charming, athletic, compassionate, and always ready to lend a hand to someone in need. As a master windshield technician, Shane provided for his family whom he adored. His children meant the whole world to him, just as he meant to his own mother who championed him until the end. As a loving husband, amazing father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, he touched the lives of many and is already terribly missed by all who knew and loved him. Shane is survived by his wife, Amber Stout Wade; children, Alayiah Wade, Kaiden Wade, Ryleigh Wade, and Kayson Wade; mother, Sha McBride DeGruy, and stepfather, Chuck DeGruy; father, Derrick Wade; sister, Tiffany Wade; brothers, Carey Wade (Naomi), and Andrew Wade (Andrea); along with numerous nieces and nephews. Shane was preceded in death by his Aunt Kay Wade. PONCHATOULA, LA Relatives and friends of the family are invited to join us in celebrating his life at a funeral service to be held in the Chapel at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home located at 1190 Hwy 51 North, Ponchatoula, LA on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m. with services to follow at 12:00 p.m.
