Ellen was my mother. She's been gone for 12 years now, and I miss her so much. She was a wonderful mother, and I had such a great childhood and teen years because of her patience, love, wisdom and sense of humor. She was always the family hub for our family after we ventured out with our own families, and we always came home for her delicious chocolate chip cookies and German plum dumplings. She was one of a kind, and I sure wish I could have just one more phone call, or just a lovely visit. Love and miss her every day.

Ellen was my mother, and I miss her dearly. She was a mom, a mentor, and a best friend. She also was a fabulous cook and baker, always having her yummy chocolate chip cookies at hand. She was a tough disciplinarian,but also a wonderful comforter. I love and miss her every day.
