Gleason, James 4/5/1935 - 6/28/2021 Whitmore Lake James Gleason, 86, passed away June 28, 2021 after a long illness. The oldest of six children, he was born on April 5, 1935 in Saline, Michigan to Rex Gleason and Lucile (Schafer) Gleason. James married Georgia (Roche) Gleason, on August 1, 1964. Jim will be missed by his wife Georgia; his children, Katie (Patrick Gurian) Gleason, Patrick (Evelyn) Gleason, and Alvin (Ingrid) Hill; siblings Nancy Fisher and David (Becky) Gleason; and grandchildren James and Anna Gurian, Irvin Garay, and Anton Hill. He is preceded in death by his siblings Donna and Ray Gleason, and Susan Taylor. Jim's family and friends will gather on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00 noon at Webster United Church of Christ, 5484 Webster Church Rd, Dexter, Michigan. Memorial contributions are suggested to Michigan 4-H Foundation, the Hamburg Township Library, and Webster United Church of Christ.
