Dailey-Romelhardt, Merlene J. Ann Arbor, MI Merlene J. Dailey-Romelhardt of Ann Arbor, passed away September, 22, 2014. She was 80 years old. Born September 10, 1934 in Ypsilanti, she was the daughter of Roy Ankney and Naomi (Myers) Rife and step-father Orville Rife. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Merlene was devoted to her family and took great joy in her grandchildren. She is survived by her two children, Deborah Vanderjagt (Dale) and Mark Dailey (Lenni); ten grandchildren, Chris Hatch, Matthew Hatch (Lori), Wynter Dawson (Justin), Holly Dailey, James Burleson, Melissa Dailey (Jesse), Michael Burleson (Savanna), James Penney (Naoko), Lindsey Dailey-Lewis (Matthew) and Ashley Dailey (Jacques) and twenty one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Carla Dailey-Burleson, a son Douglas Dailey and a great granddaughter Ariana Lewis. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 29 at 11:00 am at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Liberty Road Chapel, 3767 W. Liberty Rd. Ann Arbor.
