Public viewing will be Friday afternoon from 2 - 7 pm at Ervin Funeral Chapel. Covid guidelines and social distancing will be observed. Anitra LaQuise "Quisa" Dobbins was born in Anniston, Alabama on December 1, 1978 to the parentage of Carl Anthony Holloway and Brenda Denise Dobbins. At an early age she confessed hope in Christ and united with the Haven United Methodist Church. She received her education in the Anniston City School System and graduated from Anniston High School in 1997. Quisa was a great student and high achiever. After graduating high school, she attended and graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. After graduation, Quisa decided to work and reside in Birmingham. She later moved to Calera and resided there until God called her home. She was a hard worker and chose to start her career at the Protective Life Insurance Company. Anitra enjoyed reading, laughing, and spending time with her niece, Carlee and nephew, Brendan. She also enjoyed getting "dolled up", traveling and cooking dishes that reminded her of her grandmother, Georgia. It was a blessing for her to be able to spend time with her family and friends. She touched the lives and was loved by many people. On Thursday, July 1, 2021, God in His perfect way, at His perfect time, gave Anitra her wings at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Anitra is preceded in death by: her grandmother, Georgia Dobbins; her grandfathers, Jimmy Lee Wilson and Hoover Holloway. Anitra is lovingly remembered and cherished by: her mother, Brenda Denise Dobbins of Anniston, Alabama; her father Anthony Carl Holloway of Anniston Alabama; her sisters, Vernitra LaShay Dobbins of Anniston, Alabama, Cherrelle Miller, Brittany Miller, and Breanna Miller, all of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her precious niece and nephew, Carlee and Brendan; her aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
