Bessie Lucille Dunson

Funeral service for Bessie Lucille Dunson 92, will be Wednesday, December 7, at Noon at the Springhill Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Baker, officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope CME Church Cemetery, Bynum. Mrs. Dunson passed away on December 1, 2022 at Diversicare of Oxford with Exhabit Hospice. Mrs. Dunson's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Dunson was a lifelong devoted member of Springhill Baptist Church. Survivors include her nieces, nephews, sister in-law: Sue Willie Carter, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sophronia Carter, her husband, Hamilton Dunson, siblings, Willie Hazal and Beulah Carter, Velma Inez Elston, Idella Story, Inora Pearl Knight , Curtis James Carter, J.V. Carter, Robert Louis Carter, Herman Carter and John Carter, Jr..
