Catherine S. "Cat" Green

Funeral service for Catherine S. Green 72 "Cat", will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1 pm at the William Hutchings FEMA Building with Rev. Alberta McCrory, officiating. Interment will follow in Hobson City Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Green passed away on February 22, 2025 at Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Green's remains will arrive at the Feme building one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Green was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She attended Calhoun County Training School and worked in the Food Industry until she retired. Survivors include her son: Charles Hobdy; siblings: Michael Stone, Sr., Venita Stone Smith, Mary Clopton, Martha Elston, Eloise Judkins, Rodney Ferrell; aunts: Gloria Battle, Elinda Stone; uncles: James Stone; grandchildren: Jaqueta Williams, Gregory dion Hobdy, Demar Britt, Avelon Britt, Zylian Wade, Shataria Harris; nieces: Velissa Wright, Fredericka Stone, Ariana Stone, Randricko Allen, Kelly Griffin, Michael Stone, Jr., other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Onslo Stone, Sr. and Daise Butts Stones, her husband, George Green, son, Gregory Hobdy, siblings, Mary Joyce Stone, Linda Faye Stone, Diane Stones Jones, Onslo Stone, Jr., Randy Stone, Henry Martin Ferrell, Johnny W.
