Charles E. Moore Obituary

A graveside service for Mr. Charles E. Moore, 90, will be Monday, January 4, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Edgemont Cemetery in Anniston with Dr. Bill Snow officiating. Mr. Moore went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2015. He is survived by two daughters, Judy (Steve) Sparks, of Jacksonville and Denise (Rex) Stinson, of Oxford; three grandchildren, Chuck Sparks, of Jacksonville, Kevin (Stacy) Sparks, of Jacksonville and Lindsay (Tom) Frey, of Oxford; four great-grandchildren, Kayley Sparks, Kennedy Sparks, Charlie Sparks and Scarlett Frey; one sister; two nephews and three nieces. A native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County, Mr. Moore attended Edgewood Church while living in Anniston and upon moving to Jacksonville he attended Bonny Brook Baptist Church. Mr. Moore served his country in the US Air Force during WWII. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Moore and his brother, James "Jimmy" Moore. Online condolences to the family at www.klbrownfuneralhome.com. K.L.
