Cordelia Williamson Obituary

WELLINGTON — Memorial services for Cordelia "Delia" Starr Williamson, 91, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2008, in the Sanctuary of Parker Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Billy Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Edgemont Cemetery with K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Williamson died Saturday, September 13, 2008, at Regional Medical Center. She is survived by two sons, Walter and his wife Naomi, John and his wife, Susan. Lovingly known as Mimi to her grandchildren, Delia, Chris and Benjamin; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Williamson worked in the banking and finance industry for over 40 years. She was a member of the Auxiliary at Regional Medical Center, a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church and also served as the Financial Secretary and Librarian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy C. Williamson; an infant daughter; five brothers, James, Deforest, Henry, Hugh and Paul; and granddaughter, Mary Katherine "Katy" Williamson.
