My name is Steve R. Skipper. I am a Sports Artist who had the dream of doing Art sanctioned by NASCAR. I am an African American and was tops ad shown by many that this dream would never happen. I was blessed one day to meet a special person who would view my work and with a gentle yet strong power take me under his wing and defy those in authority to provide me the opportunity to show and prove that my work belonged. He would tell me that he couldn't give me anything , he wanted me to work and prove myself so that the walls would come down forever and not temporarily. With his personal mentoring and loving care I was honored to have my work on permanent display in the International Motorsprts Hall of Fame and featured on QVC Network. I am currently ranked one of the top Sports Artist in the world! But truly more than that I am truly blessed to call Don Naman my dear Friend. He will always be with me everywhere I go. It was a blessing to meet his great Family in whom he bragged on all the time. He was a man of impeccable character and integrity which went far beyond the race track. I am honored to have a video of him on my website at www.anointedhomesart.com ? This will never come down. Thank you Lord for blessing the world with a treasure like Mr. Don Naman.

Heaven is a much better place now that Don is there and with his beloved Joanne. Don was a good friend, loyal, helpful and always the consummate gentleman. He made a huge difference in my life and I will always remember him with fondness and respect. Rest in peace, my friend.
