Both parents preceded her in death. She received her formal education in Ashland and later her family moved to Anniston, Alabama, where she completed her high school education at Cobb High School, Class of 1957. Upon graduating, Gloria moved to Dayton, Ohio and married Thomas Philip. Later on, she got a divorce. She worked as an accounts payable clerk with the Dayton school district, from where she retired. She had one daughter, Reba Joyce Kimble, whom she loved dearly. Gloria and Reba obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ and united with the Residence Park Church of Christ under the leadership of Bro. She was a mentor to the children. She loved the Ladies Bible Class, General Bible Class, Social Club, the On The Hill Group, Cobb High School Class of 1957, and supported all church functions. Gloria always had a warm smile on her face. She talked on a daily basis with friends: L. Johnson, Dollie Copeland, Claudie Smith and Cynthia Sanders. She will be greatly missed by: her family, church family, and friends. On Saturday, September 17, 2022, Sis. Kimble ended this life's journey.
