Funeral service for Jimmie Louis Thompson, Sr. 93, will be Saturday, November 8, 2025 at noon at the Smith Tabernacle CME Church with Rev. Dr. Gloria Haynes, officiating, Rev. Jimmie L. Thompson, III, eulogist. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mr. Thompson passed away on October 29,2025 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Thompson's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Mr. Thompson was educated in the Greene County School System. He was a member of Smith Tabernacle CME Church. Mr. Jimmie was an entrepreneur and the founder of Thompson Concrete Finishing. He made a great living and built a lasting legacy as an expert concrete finisher. Survivors include his daughters: Loamber, Josephine, Isobella and Felecia; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister in-law: Ella Mae Moore; brother in-law: Walter McCall, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Isabella Patrick, his wife, Inez McCall Thompson, brother, Fred Parker, infant daughter, Priscilla, sons, Earl and Jimmie, Jr. Anniston Funeral Service Jeffrey C.
