Mary Sue Rose

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Sue Rose, 89, of Anniston, will be at 12 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Dr. Roland P. Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until the service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oxford Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Rose passed away January 24, 2023, at NE Alabama Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Rose was born in Anniston and graduated from Oxford High School. She went on to work for the Anniston Army Depot and retired after 36 years of honorable service. Mrs. Rose faithfully volunteered with the NE Alabama Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and had been a member of the Morning Star Bowling League. Mrs. Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Melvin Rose, and her parents, Timothy Garfield Dison and Elna Gay Brooks Dison Prater; a brother, Joe Dison; and a sister, Louise Costantino. Mrs. Rose is survived by her sisters, Jackie Mitchell and Gaynell Peckham; a brother, Tim Dison (Stephanie); and several nieces and nephews.
