William H. "Billy Boy" Myers II Obituary

Jacksonville - SGM William H. "Billy Boy" Myers II, 59, a resident of Jacksonville, Alabama, formerly of Millbrook, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 3, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, March 7, 2012, from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Holt officiating. The burial will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors. SGM Myers was a member of the Army National Guard for 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeanecce Kyser Myers, of Jacksonville; daughters, Rachel Terry (David), of Millbrook, Samantha Foster (Neil), of Grady; grandchildren, Taylor Law, Madison Davenport, Caleb Terry and Jessica Chadwell; sister, Sharon Perry (Gene), of Birmingham; also, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be CSM Mike Lee, Maj Josh Cloud, 1SG Jim Cross, Maj Mike Davenport, 1SG Charlie Johnson and SFC Ricky Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be present and former members of The Alabama Military Academy of Fort McClellan. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to any Humane Society in memory of Billy Myers.

Jeanecce,
I am so sorry that Mike or I neither one could be there for you during this time of sadness. We do want you to know that we are thinking of you and your family and that if there is anything you need please give us a call. Billy was one-of-a-kind no doubt and will be missed by many.
