Winnie Waters Brown Obituary

Woodland - Funeral services for Winnie Waters Brown, 91, of Woodland, will be held at 2 p.m. today, September 28, 2012, from Benefield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Greg Norred officiating. Burial will follow in Wedowee City Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be her family. Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at her home. Mrs. Brown is survived by one daughter, Betty Jean Dunn and husband, James, of Arab; one son, Larry F. Brown and wife, Jane, of Woodland; one brother, Therom Waters, of Jacksonville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; caregivers, Mary Herren, Pearlie Moore, Ann Moore and Tammy Strain. Mrs. Brown was born, October 7, 1920, the daughter of Bill and Betty Lipham Waters. She was a member of Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church and had been a seamstress for Fashion Star, Inc. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband, Kinsman Brown; her parents; thirteen brothers and sisters. You may leave online condolences for the family at www.benefieldfhwedowee.com.
