REGINA "GINA" DAVIS COLLIER

BLADENBORO — Regina "Gina" Davis Collier 79, of Bladenboro, passed on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Angel House, Whiteville. She was born August 9, 1944 in Wadesboro the daughter of the late Allen M. Davis and Cleo Reynolds Davis.

Gina was a woman full of both life and faith. As much as she loved her family, she absolutely loved the Lord Jesus Christ. This fact was consistently reflected in her life and relationships. If you spent more than a few minutes with Gina, she was going to tell you about Jesus. Even if you didn't always hear it in her words, you definitely witnessed in by the way she lived her life; full of the Holy Spirit and the love for God, His Word, and His Church. Gina was known as a praying woman; if she told you she was praying for you, you could take that as a guarantee.

Gina was a member of Western Prong Baptist Church. She graduated from High Point College in 1967 where she received a Bachelors Degree. She was an avid deer hunter. She is survived by her husband, Phil Collier; three sons, Doug Collier (Traci) of Chapin, SC, Craig Collier (Casey) of Lugoff, SC, Jonathan Collier (Chris) of Bluffton, SC; grandchildren, Hannah Sassard (Ryan), Ty Collier, Grace Collier, Lily Collier, Gavin Collier, Corey Gillespie, Brady Gillespie. She was looking forward to the birth of her first great grandchild (Hannah).

Her funeral service was at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Western Prong Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating. Burial took place at the Western Prong Church Cemetery.
