A. Martin Krementz Jr., 98, of Sea Girt died on Friday Jan. 30, 2009 at the Sunnyside Manor in Wall. Mr. Krementz was a jeweler at the Frank Krementz Company in Newark before retiring in 1975. He graduated from the Newark Academy and received a BA from Wesleyan College before receiving an MBA from Harvard Business College. His favorite pastime was fishing and he was a member of the Newark Bait and Fly Fishing Club. Born and raised in Newark he lived in Short Hills before moving to Sea Girt in 1975.
Predeceased by his brother, Edward T. Krementz, MD and sister, Katherine Hazen. Surviving are his wife of 55 years Wanda Timmey Krementz; nieces and nephews, Nancy Fair and her husband Terrance, Kenneth K. Hazen, John L. Hazen and his wife Dorothy, Anne B. Bigliani and her husband Louis, Cynthia A. Geohegan and her husband Edwin Jr., David G. Krementz and his wife Jeanne and Elizabeth A. Guice and her husband Peets.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009 at 11:00am at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Newark. Donations may be made in his name to a charity of your choice.
