Aaron Marsh Obituary

(Asbury Park Press)

AARON MARSH
AGE: 25 WHOSE MOTHER LIVES IN MANAHAWKIN
Aaron Marsh, 25, died suddenly Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010. Aaron was the son of Frances Marsh, Manahawkin and Ron Marsh, Philadelphia, Pa. Aaron was a beautiful human being with a heart of gold. The words of his teacher in the gifted and talented program at Southern Regional sum up nicely what Aaron was about: "He is always willing to help others in whatever capacity is necessary." Even in death, he did just that by giving the gift of life to others by donating his organs. Aaron loved the outdoors, people, and animals. He loved spending time on Long Beach Island as he was drawn to the ocean.
Besides his parents, Aaron leaves two brothers, Kyle Marsh and Richard Robertson. He will be missed by his aunts and uncles, Raymond and Ruthanne Underwood, Clearwater Fla., Patty Underwood, Phillipsburg, Tom and Barbara Kregg, Long Beach Island, Ron and Kathy Possumato, Union, and Tom and Channel George, Mt. Holly; his grandmother, Cheung Marsh, Mount Holly. He was predeceased by his uncle, John Underwood, Manahawkin; and his aunt, Gail Sarno, Highlands, as well as his grandfathers, James Marsh and Raymond Underwood and maternal grandmother, Margaret Underwood. He also leaves many cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
When you think of Aaron, think of one of his favorite quotes, "Only the gentle are truly strong".
A celebration of Aaron's life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach. Contributions in Aaron's name can be made to Surfrider Foundation.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Ocean County Cremation Service, Forked River.

RIP Aaron Marsh. You will always live on in my heart. We talked not that long ago and you said you had something you wanted to tell me and that it had to be in person; i wanted to know then and you told me i had to wait. I still wanna know. Why did you have to go? Why is God taking people at such a young age? I dont understand... Why?

To Aaron's Family and Friends,
I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through. Aaron was a close friend of mine a time ago that I have known since first grade. I want the people closest to Aaron to know what a kind person he was to me, what a great friend he was and how much he touched my life and many others!

Aaron,
I am going to remember you for the loyal, giving, brave, hard working, easy going, free spirit that you have always been. I know that you will always be with us, watching over us and hopefully we will all find comfort in that. You will be missed my old friend<3<3

Barbara, I wish you peace in the middle of all these moments of turbulance, pain and sorrow. I know you believe in God and all eternity, and that's the hope and faith you have to have at this moment so that in the future you can be reunited with your nephew and all your loved ones. God has decided to take him in, before you and He is the only who knows why, perhaps Aaron will become your Guardian Angel from now on, and will always be there to touch your soul in those moments of sadness and those of happiness. My family and I will say a prayer for your nephew and you, always. God bless you and your family now and always.
