You were always a bright spot in my friendship lineup. I will never forget the 4 years we had playing ball together at Fordham... or the fact that they gave you a number in the 40's when you showed up for training camp freshman year, ha! I miss knowing you are walking around somewhere out there. I am looking forward to seeing you again when my day comes old friend. Until then you are in my heart Josh "The Arcadian" Arcadia.

He impressed me as being a beautiful, gentle and intelligent soul.
That soul is immortal, imperishable and absolute.

The Westchester Steelers send our condolences and depest sympathies. Josh became an instant leader from the time he joined the team at the beginning of the 2007 season, just after graduation. He always had a ready smile for everyone and was extremely popular. He played half of a season without telling nayone about his illness.
He was the epitome of what being a Steeler means. We'll miss him and remember him warmly. Josh and his family are in our prayers. Josh's number 2 jersey will not be worn again.

The 2010 Lawrenceville Football Team became a better team, the coaches became better coaches, and we all became better friends for Josh's presence this fall. His joy for the game of football was infectious. He won a League Championship as a player and helped coach the 2010 team to a second Championship. Josh was a a Champion in all that he did.

Dear Arcadia Family,
Josh was kind and supportive to my son, Adam Danko who played football at Fordham. Adam talked of Josh's ability to make him feel a part of the football team. Josh was older and welcomed Adam to the Fordham Football Family. As a mother, I am blessed that Adam and Josh's paths crossed in life. His gift of friendship to Adam will not be forgotten. May God Bless you.
Sincerely in Thoughts and Prayers.

Jarc
My friend, teammate and brother. We had the best times of our lives in those four years together and you will be missed greatly. I watched you hang in there for four years from freshman to senior year working harder than anyone and not quitting while others did. Your character stands out above the rest. I sit here and laugh, thinking of all the times we all had together...Your an inspiration for anyone who walks through those Fordham doors. Thanks for being apart of our lives, You will be missed and we will all see you again one day

Josh was a fantastic guy and always a great time to be around. Despite his obligations to football, he still played club lacrosse, which was where I got to know him. He was someone who made Rose Hill a better place.

He will be missed and remembered.
