ALFRED LEHMANN, 87, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided in Eatontown, NJ, before moving to Jackson. He worked in the Procurement Department at Fort Monmouth prior to his retirement in 1999. Alfred proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jackson and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6201 in Jackson. Alfred was the only brother Knight to have fathered two Grand Knights of Council 6201.

He was predeceased by his Parents, Albert and Martha Lehmann; his Daughter, Marcie Dinen in 2015; and his Brother, Rudy Lehmann. He is survived by his Wife, Edna Lehmann; his Sons, Richard Lehmann and his Wife, Joy of Jackson Twp., NJ, and Christopher Lehmann and his Wife, Jamie of Jackson Twp., NJ; his Daughters, Beth Conway and her Husband, Alan of Beachwood, NJ, and Deidre Jablonski and her Husband, John of Aurora, IL; his Grandchildren, Marc Jablonski, Blake Jablonski, Nicholas Conway, Sean Conway, Charlie Conway, Alan Conway, Jr., Eric Lehmann and his Fiance Jill, Ryan Lehmann and his Fiance Danielle, Kristyn Corey and her Husband James, Courtney Anderson and her Husband Ryan, Jacob Lehmann, Zachary Lehmann, Heather Vandenbos and her Husband Regan, Matthew Dinen and his Wife Carla, Daniel Dinen and his Fiance Maria, Rachel Dinen, and Michelle Pfriender; his Great grandchildren, Colin Conway and Austin Vandenbos; and by his Son-in-law, Joseph Dinen.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, September 15, 2016, from 4-8 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Friday, September 16, 2016, at the funeral home.
