AGE: 85 LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP
Alice Platte Munro, 85, lovingly known as "Fuzzy," of Little Egg Harbor Township, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Galloway. She was born in Philadelphia and resided there before moving to Little Egg Harbor Township in 1968. She was co-founder of Munro's Marina, Little Egg Harbor Township and a member and president of the Ladies Aid of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Little Egg Harbor Township. She was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Oaklyn.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dick; and a grandson, Stewart Giddens. She is survived by two sons, Allen and his wife Vicky, and Gary and his wife Barbara; a daughter, Bonnie Giddens and her husband Steve, all of Little Egg Harbor Township; six grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Drew, Jack, Kristi, and Alenc; five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aries, Avery, Jimmy, and Andy; and many dear and close friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Mathistown Road and Route 9, Little Egg Harbor Township. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Little Egg Harbor Township. Arrangements are by Wood Funeral Home, Tuckerton.
