Ann Parker Obituary
AGE: 89 • Wall
Ann H Parker, 89 of Wall passed away on Saturday January 8, 2017. Ann was born in Lakewood, raised in Spring Lake and had lived in Wall since 1955. She was a longtime member of the Wall United Methodist Church, Spring Lake Heights. Ann retired from Fort Monmouth in 1984 as a Civilian Management Specialist after 31 years of service. She enjoyed knitting, quilting and sewing. Ann thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ann was predeceased by her husband of 31 years Joseph F Parker in 1986. She is survived by her son Timothy Parker and his wife Victoria of Old Bridge and her daughter Nancy Neighbor of Oneonta, NY. Ann is also survived by six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday January 11, 2017 from 3-7 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A funeral service will be held 10 am on Thursday January 12 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wall United Methodist Church 2414 Old Mill Road Spring Lake Heights, NJ 07762. I will treasure my memories of time I spent with my aunt Rooney. She was always supportive and willing to listen. I always looked up to her for her wisdom and strength. I know her loving and beautiful family is suffering now. I weep with you. I pray for healing and peace at this most difficult time.
