So sorry to hear of the passing of my Sister-in-Law, Ann Marie. I already miss our phone calls every Sunday talking about golf, the weather, and of course, her cats. I remember all of the wonderful visits we had with her and my Brother Ed, whether it was in Columbia, Annapolis, or Oak Island, and finally at her latest home in Wilmington, along with all of the family gatherings we attended back in Glassport. May she rest in peace.

Aunt Ann was such a wonderful person. We would love coming to visit her for lunch or the occasional golf outing on our trips to the beach. Her conversations and kindness meant so much to me and my family. Like Uncle Ed, she will sorely be missed, but her memory will always bring us a smile.

When we lost Aunt Ann we lost an interesting and adventurous soul. From the days of her youth, when she worried her family by traveling the whole of Europe on her own, to her more recent adventures on Russian rivers and Eqyptian camels, she always displayed a curiosity for life that was an inspiration for us all. I wish her godspeed on this, her final adventure.

Aunt Ann was such an inspirational figure and I will be forever grateful for her influence in my life. She was intelligent, thoughtful, generous and refined. As a child, I marveled at the stories and photos she and Uncle Ed shared of their travels overseas. Their daily lives were not extravagant but they appreciated the finer things in life and indulged in luxuries while traveling. After Uncle Ed passed, Aunt Ann fearlessly continued her travels. To name just a few of her solo excursions, she traveled on riverboats through the Amazon and Russia, she visited the pyramids and rode a camel in Egypt and experienced the thrill of an Africa safari. She exemplified a life well lived. May she rest in peace with Uncle Ed.

Ann Marie was one of the most interesting people I’ve met in my life. Her and her husband Ed were an inspiration - they left an indelible mark on my life with their stories of travel, scuba diving, and aviation. Ann always treated me as an adult, despite my age, and her intelligence/quick wit was exceptional. I always looked up to her and will miss her immensely.

Ann was a wonderful sister-in-law and my wife Veronica and I will miss her. I will miss the weekly Sunday phone calls. In addition to checking up and reporting on family members, we exchanged news about Ann's latest cat adoption, her golf scores, and our investments. Meeting at family weddings and birthday parties, Ann kept us abreast of her latest adventures with friends. Ann accompanied us to Italy where we attended a cooking school. We all enjoyed the eating and meeting new people and Ann took all her "heavy" scuba equipment in case she would be able to do some diving. Ann was always kind and caring to our two sons and we all looked forward to the many postcards and underwater pictures she and Ed sent from their travels. The visits to the home Ed and Ann built on Oak Island and climbing the Light House will never be forgotten. Ann Marie, we will truly miss you. Rest in Peace.

Anne Marie and I were adversaries in the Maryland budget process - she worked for the legislature and I worked for the Governor. She was a persistent and tenacious fighter. She was also very kind and generous human being in her personal life. She was a true professional and a good person. May God bless and comfort all her family and friends.

Ann Marie was a lovely lady and a cherished friend. We spent many an afternoon sharing a glass of wine and talking about books, travel, entertainment and her many interests in life. She was a valued and important part of the Wilmington community.
