Anna M. Pizzollo

AGE: 80 • Brick

Anna M. Pizzollo, 80, of Brick, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Mrs. Pizzollo was born and raised in North Bergen, before moving to the Shore area many years ago. She lived in Farmingdale for many years before coming to Brick 18 years ago. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed crocheting, dancing, bingo and watching the Yankees. But above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Pizzollo was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Anna (Niebergall) Runne, her husband Rocco Pizzollo, and 3 brothers, Albert, Robert and George Runne. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Rocco and Stephanie Pizzollo, Annamarie Vander Drift, Terrianne and Robert Spector, and Susan and William Behring. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Annamarie Behring, Michael Vander Drift, Kristen Vander Drift, Aron Spector and Eric Spector. as well as a brother, Arthur Runne, a sister, Joan Cadamatre, many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place on Monday, October 22, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M., at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at 1 P.M., followed by interment at Ardena Baptist Church Cemetery, Farmingdale. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Pizzollo's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834, or the American Cancer Society, 2310 Route 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan NJ 08736, would be appreciated.
