Anthony Buoncristiano Obituary
Newport News, VA - Anthony "Tony" J. Buoncristiano, 86, of Newport News VA, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2020, at his daughter's home in Yorktown, VA surrounded by his loving family. Born in the Ironbound section of Newark, NJ to the late Maria (Minieri) and Vincenzo Buoncristiano, Tony lived most of his life in New Jersey before moving to Virginia in February 2014. Tony was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.
He married the love of his life, Delores (Dolly) Tannuccilli on his birthday in 1965 and they remained happily married until her passing on September 8, 1990. Tony is survived by his daughter, Madonna; son-in-law, Douglas Ziegler and granddaughter, Heather Ziegler. He was predeceased by his wife, son, Salvatore A. Buoncristiano and his siblings, Angelina, Anna, Joseph and Clara. While Tony has now been reunited with Dolly and Sal, he will be greatly missed by his surviving family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date. The family asks that donations be made in his name to the Wounded Warriors Project. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.

Tony will be be greatly missed here at The Arbors, we were lucky enough to have had a few years with Mr. Tony and he made it unforgetable! Loved to hear his stories especially about the "good" italian food back home and his growing up hijinx! RIP Tony until we meet again!
