Anthony Costa Obituary
AGE: 88 • Eatontown
Anthony "Butch" D. Costa, 88, of Eatontown, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014. Butch attended St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Red Bank. During World War II, he served with the U.S. Army from 1943-1946. He was a union electrician with IBEW Union Local #400, Wall Twp. Butch was an avid hunter and fly and trout fisherman.
Butch is survived by his son, Anthony of Red Bank; daughter, Pauline McConnell of Meshoppen, PA; step-daughter, Judith Cerligione of Keansburg; sister, Mary Buckalew of Pinellas, FL, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation and service will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, with the service beginning at 6:45 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
