Anthony Trimarco

AGE: 91 • Lakewood

Anthony Trimarco died Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Shorrock Gardens LTC, Brick. He was 91.

Born and raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, he settled in Lakewood over 12 years ago.

Prior to retiring in 1984, he worked in maintenance for the NYC Housing Authority for 25 years. Prior to that, Anthony proudly served his country in the US Navy and Merchant Marines, having served from 1940-1955. He was stationed aboard the USS Texas and USS Shoshone. Anthony was also involved in and helped co-found the VFW Post 7173 and American Legion Post in Bay Ridge.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary in 1996.

Surviving are his children: William A. Trimarco, Louis A. Trimarco and his wife Ruth, and Katherine Trimarco; and a grandson, Robert Anthony Forgetta.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9AM at D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood. Interment will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY.
