Barbara DeGeorge

AGE: 63 • Hazlet

Barbara DeGeorge, 63, of Hazlet, passed away Saturday, December 22 at her home. She was born and raised in Jersey City until she moved to Hazlet in 1998. Barbara graduated from Jersey City University with a Bachelor's Degree in English and she was also certified to be a teacher. Barbara was a Customer Service Manager for Best Foods in Roseland. Prior to that Barbara also worked at Mueller's in Jersey City, she worked as an administrator at the Jersey City Medical Center, and she also taught night classes at Hudson County Community College.

Surviving are her brother, Richard DeGeorge, of Hazlet, NJ; and her golden retriever, Skipper.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Teresa DeGeorge, her grandparents, Rose and Joseph DeGeorge and John and Angela Lancellotti, her golden retriever, Boomer, and her cousin, Jillian Orrick.
