Barbara O'Brien Obituary
Hazlet - Barbara O'Brien, 74, of Hazlet, NJ, died on August 16, 2018 at her home surrounded by her beloved family. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Vito and Helen Stanis. Barbara worked for the Hazlet Board of Education for 27 years in various cafeterias in the district. She enjoyed the beach and spending summers at the house on Culver Lake. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her two sons, John O'Brien and Daniel S. O'Brien and his wife Tammy; her four grandchildren, Daniel P. O'Brien, Anthony O'Brien, Lyn Lawson, and Allyssa O'Brien; and her great-grandson, Daniel S. O'Brien.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward J. O'Brien.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 from 7-9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 21 at 9:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Long Island.
