BRUCE M. HILLER
AGE: 59 TOMS RIVER
Bruce M. Hiller, 59, of Toms River and Lavallette, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Bruce was the branch manager of PNC Bank in Lavallette. Prior, he had worked for Sun Bank in Toms River. He attended Bloomfield High School and graduated from Wooster College, Ohio, with a Bachelors Degree and was very active in the Wooster Alumni Association. Born in East Orange, he lived in Bloomfield and "sunny" Lavallette before moving to Toms River.
He was predeceased by his mother, Grace, in 2002; and his father, Martin, in 2004. He is survived by his wife, Debra Tonnesen-Hiller; three stepchildren, Chad, Ryan, and Danielle Greenhalgh; two grandchildren, Ryleigh and Jaden; a sister, Gail Ashby and her husband Gary; a niece, Brenda McCann; and nephew, Steven Ashby.
At Bruce's request, a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in the spring. Donations in his memory may be made to a cancer charity of your choice. Kedz Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements. Letters of condolence may be sent by visiting www.kedzfuneralhome.com.

I'm just shocked by Bruce's passing. I send my deepest sympathies. Bruce was probably my very first boyfriend at Brookdale School and knew him all through high school. I knew Bruce since Brookdale School. He used to take me with him and his family to their shore house in the summer. I didn't get to see him as much as I would have liked in H.S., but I have very wonderful memories of our times together when we were young and carefree and life was a blast. Rest in peace.
