Carmine DellaPace, 90, of Tinton Falls, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at St. Barnabas Hospice & Palliative Care Center @ Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he resided in upstate New York for 25 years and has been a resident of Tinton Falls since 2010. He worked as a salesman for Balter Sales, a restaurant supply company in New York City for 40 years, retiring in 1985. Carmine was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing with his family members. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his devoted and loving wife of 67 years, Margaret DellaPace (nee Domenica Falzarano), in 2010, his parents, Guisseppe and Victoria DellaPace; his brothers, Ernest and Edward; and his sister, Pasqualena. Surviving are three daughters, Victoria Donlon and her husband Jerry, Camille DellaPace, and Marie Jane DellaPace; his grandchildren, Jerome, Mark, Ann, Jason and Laura Donlon, Susan and Shane Branker, Elaina Confessore and James Confessore; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother; Frank DellaPace and his wife Rhoda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 at the Bongarzone Funeral Home, 2400 Shafto Road, Tinton Falls. All other services are private.
