Christine Connelly Obituary
AGE: 84 • Long Branch
Christine C. Connelly, 84, of Long Branch, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune surrounded by her loving children and sons-in-law. Born in Brooklyn, NY she raised her children in Middletown and lived in Atlantic Highlands before settling in Long Branch 22 years ago. She recently re-located to Neptune, NJ after being displaced by Hurricane Sandy.
Christine was predeceased by her husband James Connelly in 1975, her brothers, William and Daniel Curran and her sister Irene Frische. Also Tish her Shis-tzu
Surviving are her 3 children, Pamela and her husband Steven of Lakewood, James Connelly of Rumson and Christine and her husband Howard of Lakewood; her sister, Marion Sullivan; her longtime companion, Robert Abbott; her 2 loving dogs, Patton and Santos. And several nieces and nephews.
Christine retired from Human Resources at Riverview Medical Center working 26 years before her retirement. She was an animal lover and volunteered for the Monmouth County SPCA. She was also active in the Riverview Medical Center retiree's luncheon which was held every month.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 22, 2012 from 3-7 pm, with a prayer service at 3 pm at the John F Pfleger Funeral Home,115 Tindall Road Middletown NJ.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Christine to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, P.O. Box 93, Eatontown, NJ 07724.

You have my deepest sympathy in the passing of your mother, Chris. I will really miss her as she was like a mother to me. I will always remember Ms Chris, my neighbor, as we looked after each other. We loved her but God loved her best.
