Constance Kern Duffy

Howell - Constance (Connie) Kern Duffy, age 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 26, 2021, surrounded by and in the loving care of her family. Born in Orange, Constance was raised in both Newark and West Orange and had resided in Leonia for 30 years prior to moving to the Ramtown section of Howell where she has lived for the last 15 years. She attended Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament in East Orange and Our Lady of the Valley High School in Orange.

Connie was a communicant of St. William the Abbot RC Church in Howell. She loved the beach, traveling and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Joseph Duffy in 2004.

Surviving are her loving sons, Thomas J. (TJ) Duffy and his wife, Jennifer and Christopher M. Duffy and his wife, Gretchen; her brother, William Kern and his wife, Sheila; her cherished grandchildren, Jack, Elise, Caroline and Joe Duffy; nephew Garrett Kern and his wife Katie; niece Meredith (Kern) Tosello and her husband Jeff; nephew Michael Duffy and his wife Renee; and her many lifelong friends that she considered family.

Viewing will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, August 31st at 10:30 a.m. at St. William the Abbot RC Church, 2740 Lakewood Allenwood Road, Howell. A live stream will be available. Interment will happen the following day at 11am on Wednesday, September 1 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 440 Ridge Road, North Arlington.

If so desired, memorials may be made in Connie's name to St. Joseph's Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave, Flourtown, PA 19031.
