Sue, I don't know if you remember me but you were a very important person in my life when I was a young girl living on Elm St. in South Amboy, NJ. I just found out about Danny's passing and I'm crushed. I have many, many fond memories of you and him back then. In fact, I remember you being like a second mom to me and Danny was like a brother to me. Please know you and his wife and daughter are in my thoughts and prayers. May God's love surround you in the dark times. Please feel free to contact me, I would love to reconnect with you. God bless you all, Melinda (Monks) Dingus

JoAnn and Summer, I just found out this morning about the passing of Danny and I'm very sorry and shocked to hear of his passing. I remember the first time I met Dan, when he became my supervisor, here was this young brash Jersy Boy, me the old man and him the young pup. Over time we became not only close co-workers but close friends. Joann if there is ever anything that me and my wife can ever do for you and Summer please just call. He was a truely kind and caring man, he always looked out for our crew down here in Fayetteville and when he left I did everything under the sun to try and make him change his mind and stay. Just last night hearing a song from the "Boss" I said to myself that I need to give him a call and see whats up, I can't do that now but know that he was a great friend and he will be be missed by this cable guy. My heart felt condolences to you and your daughter and Dan's family.

Danny, my loving husband...words cannot express the grief that I feel but I feel some peace in the fact that you are no longer suffering. I hope you left this earth knowing that I will always love you and that I will raise Summer, to the best of my ability, in the way we always discussed/wanted. The beautiful memories we've shared will always live in our hearts and I promise to keep those memories alive for Summer. Watch over her as I know you will....

We love you and miss you so much.

I went to school with Dan. He left our school and move after we graduated from Middle School. I always wondered wher he went. I always hoped one day I would run into him again. This is a shock to me. He was taken way too soon.

25 years of memories came flooding back at once today. I take solace in the fact that Danny is finally at peace. I will always see him in his beautiful daughter's face and I will make sure to share with her all the fun times we had. Summer now has TWO guardian angels.
