Daniel Fraser

1983 - 2020

Daniel Fraser, resident of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, with his loving husband and brother at his side. He was 36 years old. He was born June 29, 1983 in Somerville, NJ.

Danny, as he was referred to by family and friends, grew up in Manville NJ. It is in New Jersey that he started his nursing career. He continued his care for the elderly when he moved to Florida in 2009. He cared deeply for the residents and his coworkers at Grand Villa Senior Living Community of St. Petersburg. He continued to help people, even in death, as an organ donor.

Danny will be remembered by many for being a kind-hearted, funny and loving person. He was always quick to give someone a compliment and brighten their day with his smile and laugh. He was also known for taking care of his plants, decorating for Christmas as early as October, and staying connected to his family and friends. He loved spending time with his husband and their dogs, Macy and Trudy.

Danny will be sadly missed by his loving husband, Mark Fraser of St. Petersburg FL. The happiest day of Danny's life was when they married each other on June 1, 2017. He is survived by his father, Michael J. Yurasek, Jr. of Manville, NJ; sister, Holly Yurasek of Somerville, NJ; brother, Michael Yurasek, sister-in-law Chyresh Yurasek, nephew, Aiden Yurasek of Fountain Hill, PA; sister, Carly Tully, brother-in-law, Chris Tully, nephew, Simon Tully of Hillsborough, NJ; brother, Randy Yurasek and brother-in-law Andrew Bloomfield of Orlando, FL; by his aunts, uncles and cousins; and the Fraser family in Maine. He was predeceased by his mother, Eloise J. Yurasek.
