AGE: 55 • Keyport
Daniel James Konish, 55, of Keyport, passed away, Monday, July 25, 2016, at home. Born in Red Bank, he resided in Keyport. He worked as a mechanic in the automotive industry. He was a member of the "Idiots Delight Bowling Club" at Airport Plaza. He was always there for anyone who needed his assistance.
Daniel was predeceased by his beloved wife, Debra L. Gorhan-Konish in 2015; a son, Daniel Konish; his mother, Louise (Devino) Konish; and a brother, Herbert Konish, III. He is survived by his father, Herbert Konish of FL; two stepchildren, Kevin Ball of Staten Island, NY and Kellie Gorhan of Keansburg; three siblings, Joseph Konish and his wife Linda of Keyport; Richard Konish of FL and Karen Konish of FL; and three cherished grandchildren, Khristopher, Ava and Kalvin. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 2-6PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; with a 5PM service at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
