Daniel Marble Obituary

Daniel "Danny" Boyd Marble, Sr., 45, of Kell Devil Hills, NC died on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, Virginia. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ and lived in Seaside Park prior to moving to North Carolina 6 years ago. Danny was a self employed Master Carpenter, captain of the Seaside Park Fire Department and an avid fisherman. He was a Parishioner of St. Catharine of Siena RC Church, Seaside Park, NJ. Danny was a devoted and loving husband, he was Kathy's rock.

Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Helen (Grime) Marble. Surviving is his loving wife, Kathleen Charette-Marble; his son, Daniel Boyd Marble Jr. of NJ; his brothers, Frank of Virginia Beach, VA., L. Casey of Toms River, NJ; three sisters, Helene Marble of FL., Linda Ceckler of Barnegat, NJ and Ann Marie McLaughlin of Pelican Island, NJ.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 809 Central Avenue, Seaside Park, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:00am on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at St. Catharine of Siena RC Church, Seaside Park, NJ. Committal to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Danny's memory to the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Dept. P. O. Box 201 Seaside Park, NJ 08752.
