Daniel Scimeca Obituary
AGE: 57 • Wall
Daniel Scimeca, 57 of Wall, former Chief of Police of Manasquan passed away peacefully on January 28, 2015 at home as a result of ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).
Daniel was predeceased by his parents Jeanne and Frank Scimeca. He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen, his devoted daughters, Crystal Walker and Kelly, his two brothers and their spouses; Gary and Lauren Scimeca, Perry and Lisa Scimeca and their families; his two sisters-in-laws and their spouses Patricia Walker and Jeff Pecca, Mary and Steve Woelfer and their families.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, February 1 from 12 noon until 5 pm and Monday February 2 from 9 am until 1 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ. The funeral service will be here Monday at 1 pm. Burial will be private. So very sorry to have heard about the passing of a wonderful person such as Mr. Scimeca. I interned with the Manasquan Police Department in the late 90's & he was always very nice & helpful to me & willing to asnwer any questions I had. My thoughts & prayers to his family. RIP Sir.

I worked as a Special Officer with the Manasquan Police. Danny was a good guy. He was willing to help the "new guy" learn the ropes and always made you feel good about yourself. I hope Danny's family is comforted by all the good memories people share with them.

Very sad to hear the news of Danny's passing. He was a true friend. Although I did not see him much over the recent years, whenever I did run into him, he always had a smile on his face, as we would speak about the good old days, playing football at Mallard Park, followed by poker back at his place, or at the Firehouse. Such a good man, gone way too soon. God Bless you and your family, Danny. R.I.P. my friend.
