David A. Jamison, 68, of Freehold Township passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. David was born in Newark, raised in Watchung and had lived in Flanders and North Plainfield before moving to Freehold Township in 1986. He was a graduate of Athens College, Alabama and Rutgers University. David was an accountant. He worked for numerous companies such as Raritan Bay Medical Center, A.I.G, Adecco and Chevron until his retirement. Prior to being an accountant, David was a Physical Education teacher in Somerset County. He was a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and was a man of faith. David was an avid reader of the bible and enjoyed scriptures.

David is survived by his wife of twenty nine years, Dolores Jamison of Freehold Township; his step children, Susan Grabowski and her husband, Larry Salveson of San Mateo, CA, Carol Bektas of Freehold Township, Richard Smirnoff, Jr. and his wife, Claudia of Harmony; his step grandchildren, Dennis Bektas and his wife, Kelli of Jackson and Susanne Grabowski and her husband, James Poe of Austin, TX; two step great granddaughters, Devin Bektas of Jackson and Nell Poe of Austin, TX; a sister, Linda Peck of Hillsborough; and a niece, Kimberly Peck of Hillsborough.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, September 7, 2015 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Interment will follow in Manalapan Cemetery, Millstone Township.
