David Martz Obituary
AGE: 53 • Tinton Falls
David "Butch" Gene Martz, 53, of Tinton Falls, born March 9, 1958 and passed away on Wednesday, March, 7, 2012 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. He attended Tinton Falls schools and worked for the Department of Public Works in Long Branch.
David is predeceased by his parents, Donald and Edna Martz; and his sister, Jean Stockdale. Surviving are his two brothers, Kevin K. Martz and Josetta of Manhattan, N.Y., and Donald L. Martz and his wife Linda of South Plainfield; his two sisters, Donna Younghanz and her husband Paul of Eatontown, and Desiree Markman and her husband Sam of Tinton Falls; his longtime companion, Patricia Edgerton of Brick; his stepson, Allen Edgerton and Tiffany Conti of Brick and his three grandchildren, Autumn Edgerton, Allen Edgerton, and Andre Edgerton; and a host of nieces nephews, family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2012, with a service to take place at 7 p.m. at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. Interment will remain private. Please visit David's memorial website available at www.johnedayfuneralhome.com.

Hello Donald - We went to school at Monmouth Regional in the same class - 1965. You mightn't remember me. And to you Kevin, many years ago when I drove your school bus to Swimming River School with the Edmonds, Catleys, Roundtrees, Morris', Lawrences and others.
I did not remember David, but my sympathies are extended to your entire family.
