David Oechsle Obituary
AGE: 64 • Barnegat
David D. Oechsle, 64, of Barnegat, NJ passed March 15, 2016. He formerly resided in Yardley, PA. He was a member of the prestigious Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corp, to which he was a 2010 inductee into their Hall Of Fame. He moved to Barnegat five years ago, where he served on the Bd. of Ed. and was a member of the Republican Club. He was a devoted follower of Philadelphia sports teams and Penn State football.
Predeceased by his first wife, Carolann, he is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Bersack); four children, David, Christopher and fiancé Jennifer, Cristin, Carrie and fiancé Nicholas.
Viewing Friday March 18th from, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass offered Sat. 8 AM at St. Mary Of The Pines Church, Manahawkin. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue or Penn State THON appreciated. (www.BarnegatFH.com)

I knew Dave from the Crossmen and worked with him and Carol very closely. He was dedicated to the kids and that organization and worked long hours to make it happen. He will be miss by all who knew him.
