Dennis Lomet Obituary
AGE: 47 • Oakhurst
Dennis S. Lomet, 47, of Oakhurst, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at home. He was born in Long Branch and lived all of his life in Oakhurst. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Oakhurst and was a HVAC technician for Lawes Coal Company in Shrewsbury for the past 25 years.
He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Lomet, in 2008. Surviving are his wife, Michelle; children, Krystal, Dennis Jr., Scott and Marissa; his father, Douglas Lomet; brother, Douglas Lomet Jr. and his wife Marie; sister, Deborah Lomet; nephew, Michael, Jr. and niece, Caitlyn.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 at the funeral home, followed by burial at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702. Please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.

Dennis, Dennis, Dennis...of all people WHY YOU! i am so distraught and saddened by your passing....you were such an amazing friend....an amazing human being. although we don't have the answers i do know you have gone to Heaven! Dear Dennis....May you now peacefully Rest In Peace in Heaven. I lost my dad to cancer in 2010, please say hello to him for me... It does not seem like we were in school together 30 years ago..wow. Dear Michele and Family,
Laura and I are very sorry to hear about Dennis and the loss to your Family. Dennis wasn't only a great co/worker, I considered him a good friend. He was always there for me when I needed him. I remember the one time when we went camping together. That was a blast. I wish we could have got together more. We shared many laughs together and he will be missed. I am sorry I cannot be there.

To All of Dennis's Family: I give my sincere sympathy. I only met Dennis and you, Michelle, at our Jeff's funeral 5 years ago. I am Debbie's Jeff's Aunt Kathy. I am so very sorry that you are all missing your Dennis. Be comforted in knowing that he is HOME now. He will always watch over you! My Mom (7/15/09) had a favorite saying that she once heard.
