Doris Mucci Obituary
AGE: 86 • Greenacres, FL
Doris P. Mucci, 86, of Greenacres, FL formerly of Middletown and Jersey City, NJ, died Tuesday April 21, 2015 at JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL. She was born in Paterson, N.J. to the late Stanislaus and Mary Gray. Doris was a former communicant of St. Mary's RC Church in New Monmouth, and is a current communicant of St. Matthew's RC Church in Boynton Beach, FL. Doris was a Pari-Mutuel Agent at Monmouth Racetrack retiring years ago.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, George, in 2013 and her cherished daughter, Mary Louise (Mucci) Bond in 2007. Doris is survived by her loving children, Patricia Mucci and her husband Ayman Azab of Lake Worth, FL., and George Mucci and his wife Karen of Washington Twp, NJ. She is the proud grandmother of Patricia and Jennifer Bond; Steven, Lauren, Allyson and Kristen Mucci and great-grandmother of Sarah Bond. Also surviving are her son-in-law, Frank Bond and sister-in-law Veronica Pastore, along with many treasured nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26th from 3 - 7 pm at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 27, 2015, 10:15 am at St. James RC Church, 94 Broad St., Red Bank. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, Holmdel, NJ. Dear George an Patricia.Carol and I extend our heartfelt condolences to your mom Doris.we were friends of your mom an dad when we lived in Greenacres.we enjoyed our Monday afternoon card games with your mom.We will not be able to attend the viewing for your mom due to an ongoing health situation with my wife Carol.May god bless your mom,she was a wonderful person,an will be missed greatly.We formerly resided in the Rainbows in Greenacres fl.
