Doris Yersin Obituary
AGE: 83 ? Brick
Doris Miller Yersin, 83, of Brick, passed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at Ocean Medical Center. Born in Union to the late John and Johanna Miller, she lived there, and for many years in Point Pleasant Beach before moving to Brick 10 years ago. Mrs. Yersin had worked for New Jersey Bell, Union and Point Pleasant Beach, retiring as a service assistant. She was past president and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company, No. 2.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 54 years, Ralph N.; two sons, Kenneth J. and his wife Betty Lynn of Manasquan, and Paul R. and his wife Sophia of Howell; her daughter, Donna A. Norton and her husband Robert of Point Pleasant; and eight grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah-Ann, Lacey, Courtney, Kelsey, Cody, Raquel, and Jake.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 4 at the Pable-Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 8:30 p.m. a service will be held. Cremation will be private. As an expression of sympathy, donations made in her memory to the Point Pleasant Beach Fire Co. No. 2, Ladies Auxiliary, Laurel Ave., Point Pleasant Beach, 08742 would be appreciated.
