AGE: 58 • Jackson

Pastor Ed Craddox, 58, departed this life Thurs., May 7, 2015 at home. Born in Neptune, he lived in Lakewood before moving to Jackson 3 years ago. He was the pastor of City of Refuge Ministries in Farmingdale.

He is predeceased by his wife, Carol Craddox; his son, Joshua Craddox; and his father, Bishop Archie Craddox. Surviving are 2 daughters, LaToya and Candice Craddox; 3 sons, Michael Craddox and twins Shawn and Stephen Shells; a grandson, Ahwill Shells; his mother, Bertha Craddox; 3 sisters, Barbara Lester (Carl), Brenda Thomas (Glenmore) and Linda Baker (Eddie); 2 brothers, Bishop John Craddox (Linda) and Kenneth Craddox (Tena).

Viewing Wed. 6-8pm and Thurs. 9-11am in Praise Temple Ministries, 3617 Route 33 in Neptune. Funeral Thurs. 11am in the church. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Arrangements by Brown's Funeral Home, Plainfield. www.brownsfuneralhome.net.

I just received word on the passing of my classmate, ED CRADDOX (Manalapan HS 1975).... I shall always remember ED for his warm personality and smile. He had this quiet, easy going, humble yet self- assured presence about him. He shall be missed.
