Brooks, ME - Edward (Ted) F. Desmond, 64, of Brooks, ME formerly of Monmouth County, NJ passed away on Mar. 16, 2021 in his home.
Ted was born in Rumson, NJ to Frank J. Desmond & Joan (Hammond) Desmond on 12/20/1956. He worked as a landscaper for his family and himself throughout his entire life. He enjoyed everything about working outside and was a master of transforming sad grass into a lush lawn.
Ted is survived by his daughters, Sandra and her spouse Ken Burgos of Hazlet, NJ, Kimberly French of Vassalboro, ME, his spouse Cathleen Desmond of Manchester, NJ, his siblings, Nancy Hand of Belford, NJ, Diane Fuller of Winthrop, ME, Joan Deininger of Highlands, NJ and Frank Desmond, Jr. of Winthrop, ME and grandchildren, Caitlin, Chloe, Madelyn, Trevor, Joselyn, and Lilianna. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Joan H. Desmond.

My sincere condolences to Ted's family, Cathleen, Sandra, Kimberly, and Grandchildren, all of whom I have not met. I am Ted's cousin, Christine (Chris), Doris (Dede) Hammond Sims' daughter, and I am also from the Monmouth County area, now living in Ocean. I would like it if Nancy, Diane, or Joanie could reach out to me; my email is included. I am very sorry for your loss.
