EDWARD N. OECHSLE
AGE: 73 LITTLE EGG HARBOR
Edward N. Oechsle, 73, of Little Egg Harbor, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Seacrest Nursing Home, Little Egg Harbor. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he served our country in the Armed Forces from 1952 to 1958, later moving to Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton, where he was a local resident for 50 years. He was a truck driver for Seashore Produce in Atlantic City, and was active in the MICA Club and Italian American Club, both in Little Egg Harbor.
He was predeceased by his wife, Christine, in 1995. He is survived by his sons, Joseph Hauser of Little Egg Harbor and his fiance Danielle, Nicholas Hauser of Little Egg Harbor and his fiance Dia, and John Hauser of Little Egg Harbor; his daughters, Jennifer Hauser of Little Egg Harbor and her fiance Cliff, and Jessica Hauser of Little Egg Harbor and her fiance Joe; and two sisters, Fern Gibson and her husband Jack of Pennsylvania, and Anna May Pinker and her husband Harry of Florida. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kayla, David, John, Joseph, Alyssa, Francesca, and McKenzie.
A memorial gathering will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Road, Little Egg Harbor. In lieu of flowers, donations would be accepted in care of the children. For driving directions or to send condolences, please go to www.maxwellfuneralhome.com.
