Elaine Brodsky

AGE: 95 • Lakewood

Elaine Brodsky, 95, of Lakewood Township, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Leisure Chateau. Born in New Brunswick, NJ she resided in New York City before moving back to New Jersey 17 years ago. In 1946 she married her husband who was a jazz pianist and arranger. She was a talented singer and fashion designer of shower caps, rain bonnets and scarves.

Elaine was predeceased by her husband Irving and granddaughter Abby. She is survived by her daughter Judy; two grandchildren, Rachael and Jared Klein and his wife Adrienne and two great grandchildren, Juliette and Carly.



A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 19th at 12 PM at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Highway 9 North, Manalapan. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. The family would appreciate memorial donations made to VNA Health Group of New Jersey, 176 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701, (in care of hospice) or Brain Injury Association of America, P.O.
